Jalsa Salana 2025 applications are now open

Applications for Jalsa Salana 2025 are now open, with the updated criteria approved.

Please be aware that the awards are exclusively available to Belgian candidates.

Any Belgian student or expats studying abroad or student where qualifications were done abroad but now resides in Belgium can receive award if country where qualifications were sat agrees the achievement warrants an award.

It is the applicant responsibility to get from the other country proof of acceptance of award and send to us before the deadline.

Jalsa Salana Talim Awards

By the Grace and Blessings of Allah the Almighty each year merit-based awards on Jalsa Salana to fortunate Ahmadi students who have excelled in their fields of study.

Depending on the number of successful applications and time given. It is possible that the names of successful applicants will be announced at Jalsa Salana but the medals will be distributed at a later date.

Please follow the instructions/requirements below to apply for an award for Jalsa Salana Belgium.

  • Please read carefully the given criteria and confirm you meet the criteria for one of the categories.
  • Apply online for your category and you will get confirmation email with reference number of your application.
  • Please check your junk/spam folder of email in case you don’t see in your inbox after few minutes. If this is not received at all, you will have to apply again.
  • Please give details of your application to your Sadr so he can email his attestation.
  • Please complete the online form below and submit scanned copies of the application and certificates before the deadline.

Acceptance Criteria

The award applications are judged on academic merit alone. ALL candidates must meet the minimum criteria below to be eligible for the awards.

Secondary Education (Highschool diploma)

The requirements for “secundair onderwijs/l’enseignement secondaire” are as follows:

  • All degrees must be achieved not more than 5 years ago.
  • Highschool diploma and final report/result card must be provided
  • ASO/L’enseignement secondaire général
    • All fields of study are eligible
  • TSO/L’enseignement secondaire technique
    • Only fields of study with Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subjects with minimum 5 hours or more/week in aforementioned STEM subject(s).
    • E.g 5 hour of Mathematics, 5 hours of Physics, 5 hours of IT, ...
    • A mix of science subjects (like "natuurwetenschappen") are not considered.
  • Score/report card must be provided

Higher Education (Bachelors, Masters & Phd)

The requirements for Bachelor, Masters or Phd degrees are as follows:

  • All degrees must be achieved not more than 5 years ago.
  • University degree must be provided
  • Degree must be from a Belgian University or University College

National Secretary Talim reserves the right to make individual exceptions if those are founded in valid arguments.

Special Circumstances

To apply for the Jalsa Talim Award under special circumstances, please submit a letter writing why you should be considered under this category highlighting the special conditions.
